The exhibition features works by 11 artists influenced by the work of self-taught artist Henry Darger, including Mr. Friedman’s orchestral piece, Sacred Heart: Explosion, which is based on one of Darger’s water color paintings of the same name. A live recording by the National Symphony Orchestra will be broadcast three times per hour at the Museum, throughout the exhibition. Mr. Friedman’s scores and score sketches are also on display.
